Flight Cancellations and Suspensions Across Middle Eastern and European Carriers (as of 2 March 2026).
Ongoing airspace restrictions and regional security developments in the Middle East continue to impact international flight operations. Several major carriers have implemented significant schedule adjustments and temporary suspensions.
Gulf Carriers
- Qatar Airways – All flights to/from Doha remain suspended until further notice.
- Emirates – A substantial number of Dubai‑based services are canceled; no defined end date yet.
- Etihad Airways – Abu Dhabi operations are suspended at least through 2 March, with updates pending.
- Saudi Arabian Airlines – No full network suspension, but regional Middle East routes face rolling cancellations.
- Turkish Airlines – Numerous Middle East destinations (e.g., Bahrain, Riyadh, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Syria, UAE) remain affected, with cancellations under continuous review.
European Carriers (Lufthansa Group, Air France, KLM)
- Lufthansa –
- Dubai & Abu Dhabi flights suspended through 4 March.
- Tel Aviv, Beirut, Amman, Erbil & Tehran suspended through approx. 7 March.
- Austrian Airlines – Route‑specific suspensions aligned with Lufthansa Group policies through approx. 7 March.
- SWISS – Reduced schedules and cancellations on Middle East routes, including Tel Aviv and selected Gulf destinations; some services limited to daytime operations.
- Air France – Cancellations affecting Beirut, Dubai, and Riyadh; no confirmed end date.
- KLM – Tel Aviv services remain suspended; further adjustments possible this week.
