Ocean Freight Dispatcher (m/f/d)

As part of our Ocean Freight team in Vienna, you will indepen­dently manage inter­national sea freight ship­ments and have a direct impact on smooth operations. You will work closely with customers and our global network, build inter­national expertise and continu­ously develop both profession­ally and personally.

About the Role:

Indepen­dent prepa­ration of quotations and transport cost calcu­lations for import and export shipments

End-to-end management of sea freight ship­ments from planning and documen­tation to final delivery

Shipment monitoring and proactive, solution-oriented deviation management

Close coordi­nation with customers, ship­ping lines and partners as well as rate and capacity negotia­tions

Profes­sional and service-oriented support of inter­national customers and partners 

Building long-term business relation­ships

What You’ll Bring:

Completed commercial education (e.g. business school, freight forwarding appren­ticeship or equivalent qualifi­cation)

Several years of profes­sional experience in sea freight

Fluency in German and good knowledge of English

Excellent MS Office skills and confident use of common business tools

Strong organi­zational skills combined with a structured, indepen­dent working style and a strong service orien­tation

Team player with a pro-ac­tive, so­lu­tion-oriented approach

Compensation

We offer an attrac­tive salary in line with the market with a willing­ness to overpay depending on qualifi­cations and experience. The minimum salary is € 2,285.10 gross/month (full-time) according to the collec­tive agree­ment . We will agree your actual salary individu­ally in a personal interview!
