Employee (m/f/d) Controlling & Transport Accounting Ocean Freight

You’ll step into a high-impact role in controlling and transportation accounting with a strong level of ownership and autonomy. As part of our Vienna ocean freight team, you’ll play a key role in ensuring financial transparency, accuracy, and smooth, efficient processes.

About the Role:

Review and process incoming and outgoing invoices, including accuracy and compliance checks

Handling of invoice discrepancies and clarification of differences with partners and suppliers

Perform quality checks to ensure compliance with internal policies and processes

Prepare reports, analyses, and evaluations to support the department

Administrative responsibilities within transport accounting

Communication with domestic and international vendors and partners

What you'll bring:

Completed commercial education (e.g. university, business school or equivalent)

Proven experience in ocean freight is an advantage

Fluency in German and good knowledge of English

Excellent MS Office skills and common tools

A detail-oriented, well-structured, and self-driven approach to work

Team player with a pro-active, solution-oriented approach

Compensation

We offer an attractive salary in line with the market with a willingness to overpay depending on qualifications and experience. The minimum salary is € 2,285.10 gross/month (full-time) according to the collective agreement . We will agree your actual salary individually in a personal interview!
