Cargomind Launches in the Netherlands
New Schiphol office strengthens Cargomind’s Benelux presence
Cargomind is now represented in the Netherlands as well. Located at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, the company is expanding its operational presence in one of Europe's most active logistics regions.
It is positioned at the heart of Europe’s logistics network. Schiphol is one of the most important air freight hubs in Europe. Just a few kilometers away is Rotterdam, the largest seaport in Europe. Together, they form a powerful gateway for global logistics.
The local team coordinates air and ocean freight transportation and ensures efficient, flexible handling. Close cooperation with airlines and local service providers enables flexible and reliable shipment management. The location also offers ideal conditions for ocean freight. Direct connections to the most important global markets are available via Rotterdam and Antwerp with high frequency and corresponding planning reliability.
Experience meets a hands-on mentality
Managing Director Michael Hopster, who has more than 25 years of experience in international logistics, is responsible for the location. His career began in air freight at DHL and took him through various positions at global logistics companies such as UPS Supply Chain Solutions, CEVA Logistics, Kühne + Nagel and Bolloré Logistics.
In these roles, he has actively shaped and developed operational processes and customer solutions. "A pragmatic approach is particularly important to me. It must be close to the day-to-day business, quick to implement, and always consider our customers' requirements," says Hopster.
He is now bringing this approach to Amsterdam. Together with his team, he is developing the location step by step. The goal is to provide customers in the Benelux region with personalized, flexible, and reliable support.
