Cargomind supports the Sports and Cultural Association of the Vienna Professional Fire Department
Cargomind’s long-standing commitment to the track and field section has been rewarded with strong competition results and successful youth development.
Logistics and competitive sport have a lot in common: it's all about perfect timing, endurance and the will to achieve your goal. Cargomind has been supporting the athletics section of the SKV Vienna Professional Fire Brigade for several years now.
Athletes show great dedication in competitions throughout the year. For Cargomind, the focus is on supporting young talent. Providing young athletes with a professional training environment reflects our corporate values and lays the foundation for impressive athletic achievements.
Strong performances at the CARGOMIND Indoor Meet
A highlight was the CARGOMIND Indoor Meet on March 20, 2026, at the GSG9 Hall in Vienna. To wrap up the indoor season, many athletes took the opportunity to set new personal bests.
The young talents of the SKV Fire Department, in particular, shone with outstanding results:
- Clancy Osaro cleared 2.01 meters in the pole vault and threw the shot put 10.00 meters.
- Laurin Strauss threw the shot put to a new personal best of 9.20 meters.
- Konrad Lackner achieved an impressive 9.93 meters in the U20 category.
There were also outstanding performances outside the immediate SKV roster:
- Simon Wippl won the U20 shot put title (10.59 m) and improved his pole vault mark to 3.51 m.
- Pascal Bohenik won the pole vault with a jump of 3.81 meters.
- Gerhard Zillner recorded the longest throw of the day in the shot put with a distance of 13.97 meters, while his son Felix Zillner won the U16 division with a throw of 11.72 meters.
We congratulate all the athletes on their fantastic performances and look forward to supporting the SKV Fire Department as they aim for new records in the upcoming outdoor season!
