Bollmann Award 2026
Cargomind Named One of Three Finalists.
A special recognition for sustainable logistics: Cargomind was named one of three finalists for the 2026 Bollmann Award presented by the Vienna Chamber of Commerce. The international logistics provider earned its place among the finalists with a comprehensive sustainability initiative at its Vienna headquarters, highlighting its commitment to more sustainable logistics operations.
Presented by the Transport and Traffic Division of the Vienna Chamber of Commerce, the Bollmann Award recognizes outstanding achievements and innovative projects that help shape the future of the transportation and logistics industry. For Cargomind, an international logistics provider headquartered in Vienna, the nomination represents a meaningful acknowledgment of its ongoing commitment to sustainability and forward-looking logistics solutions.
Cargomind was recognized as one of the three finalists during the award ceremony held at the MAK – Museum of Applied Arts in Vienna.
Driving Sustainability Across Operations and Transportation
Cargomind's award submission highlighted the company's ongoing efforts to make its facilities and operations at Vienna's Freudenau Port more sustainable. Since 2022, Cargomind has made significant investments in modernizing its energy infrastructure and reducing carbon emissions.
Key initiatives include the installation of a 300 kWp solar power system, the introduction of energy-efficient heat pump technology, upgraded LED lighting, and smart energy management systems. Building on these improvements, Cargomind is expanding its EV charging infrastructure and gradually transitioning its own truck fleet to electric vehicles. Once fully implemented, the six planned electric trucks are expected to reduce CO₂ emissions by approximately 216 metric tons annually.
Being named one of the three finalists for the 2026 Bollmann Award is a meaningful recognition of Cargomind's progress and reinforces the company's commitment to advancing sustainable practices, both at its own facilities and throughout its international logistics operations.
